We stopped in St. Paul and were looking for some place, but everything was closed. Oh duh, it's the 4th of July. I had totally lost track of the days. At any rate, we never found a Starbucks that was close enough to the freeway, so we wound up getting breakfast at Burger King, a couple hours later.
We got into Milwaukee and went straight to Uncle Eric's house. We hung out for awhile and played baseball with A.J.
Then we headed for Matt and Christie's. We were super happy to be there and know we were done driving for a while. We hung out, ate great food, the kids swam, etc. We were planning to go to a nearby park for fireworks, but then we had a crazy storm and it poured rain forever, so that didn't happen.
The kids all went inside and the adults just chilled in the garage for a couple hours until it was over.
And then the fireflies came out!! Layla didn't remember them from the last time we were here,
At some point, we came inside and played Pit before getting to sleep indoors! In a bedroom!
