Road Trip Day 7

Yesterday we said goodbye to the Wisdaps and drove to Ohio! We spent a freaking fortune pulling our trailer through all 4,000 tollbooths in Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. We arrived in town around 2:30 and did a quick driving tour, pointing out where we used to live and places we used to go, but Micah had to go to the bathroom, so we wrapped that up quickly and headed to Danny's.We had some really quick lunch, where I discovered that Shane is, in fact, capable of making a sandwich.In the evening, we went to a tailgate/gathering at the church and lots of people came by to say hi. It was so nice to be back. It's been 12 years since we left and 10 years since we last visited.Then we had to run to Walmart to grab some things. Nobody said "welcome to waaaalllmaart" as we walked in, so that was a little disappointing. And we did a little more driving around and seeing things. The sun was setting at that point and it was just beautiful out on the county roads. Boy do we miss this place.
